Refund & Warranty Policy
This page explains how KIBOPC handles standard returns, custom PC orders, faulty goods, warranty inspections and service package return shipping. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable Irish and European Union consumer law.
Online cancellation rights
For eligible standard online purchases, consumer customers may have a 14-day cancellation period. Custom-made, personalised and made-to-order PC builds may be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Faulty goods are different
If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, your statutory consumer rights remain protected. KIBOPC will assess the issue and offer the appropriate remedy where required.
Warranty support
Hardware may be covered by manufacturer warranty. KIBOPC workmanship for assembly or service work is covered for 90 days unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
How to request a return or warranty check
Contact KIBOPC before returning any item or device.
Provide your order number, checkout email and a clear description of the issue or cancellation request.
Wait for confirmation and return instructions before shipping anything back.
Package the item securely and include all requested accessories, documents or proof of purchase.
KIBOPC will inspect the item or service issue and confirm the next step by email.

Where applicable, consumer customers who purchase standard ready-made goods online may have a 14-day cooling-off period. This period generally runs from the date the customer receives the goods.
To use this right, you must contact KIBOPC within the applicable cancellation period and return the goods within the required timeframe after cancellation.
Returned goods must be unused, complete, safely packaged and returned with any accessories, manuals, packaging and proof of purchase where reasonably required.

Custom-built PCs, made-to-order systems, special-order components and goods made to your specification may not qualify for the standard change-of-mind cancellation right once the specification has been approved, components have been ordered, work has started or the goods have been personalised.
Deposits or prepayments for custom or special-order work may be non-refundable once parts have been ordered or work has started, subject always to applicable Irish and EU consumer law.
If a component becomes unavailable or a material change is required, KIBOPC will contact you before proceeding with a materially different specification.

Some ready-built PCs may be available immediately, while others may require final preparation, testing, assembly or component sourcing after payment or an agreed deposit.
If a required component is unavailable, delayed, discontinued or affected by a supplier price change before contract formation, KIBOPC will contact you to explain the available options.
Component brands may vary depending on supplier stock, but KIBOPC uses well-known and reputable brands and will provide parts that meet the required specification level, reliability and compatibility.

If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, please contact KIBOPC as soon as possible with your order number, description of the issue and photos or videos where useful.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the appropriate remedy may include inspection, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Faulty goods claims are handled separately from change-of-mind returns and nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

Manufacturer warranties may apply to individual hardware components. The length and terms of manufacturer warranty depend on the relevant manufacturer and component.
KIBOPC workmanship for assembly, configuration or service work is covered for 90 days unless a different period is confirmed in writing.
Before a warranty remedy is confirmed, KIBOPC may need to inspect the system, run diagnostics, request photographs or obtain manufacturer confirmation.

Warranty support may not apply where damage or failure is caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, liquid damage, electrical surge, overheating due to improper use, unauthorised repair, modification, tampering, malware, software misuse, unauthorised overclocking or normal wear and tear.
Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of personal data before sending a device or system for service, repair, diagnostics, upgrade or warranty inspection.

7. Service packages and device shipping
For diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and other service packages that require physical access to a device, the customer is responsible for sending or delivering the device to KIBOPC unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Work begins after the device has been received, the service request has been accepted and any required payment has been received.
After the selected service has been completed, KIBOPC will return the device to the provided customer address at KIBOPC cost within Ireland, unless otherwise agreed.

Where a refund is due, KIBOPC will process it using the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required by law.
Refund timing may depend on inspection, return of goods, Stripe processing, bank processing and the nature of the cancellation, return or fault claim.
Delivery charges, special-order costs, used services, diagnostic work or return shipping may be treated differently depending on the reason for cancellation or return and applicable law.
