Prepayment & parts ordering

Custom Configurator Builds and Pre-configured PCs are made-to-order PCs. Payment is required before component ordering, allocation, unboxing or build work starts.

Equivalent brand substitutions

Component brands may vary with availability. KIBOPC will provide equivalent or better core specifications and will contact you before a material change.

Service shipping process

For service packages, the customer sends the device to KIBOPC. After completion, KIBOPC returns it to the customer address at KIBOPC cost within Ireland.

Important before ordering

Stock and build times

Pre-built and Pre-configured PCs shown on the website are pre-configured models, not ready-to-ship warehouse stock. After order acceptance and cleared payment, the usual build, testing and dispatch preparation timeframe is 7–14 business days, excluding supplier or courier delays and any customer-requested changes.

Services and return shipping

For service packages, the customer pays shipping to KIBOPC. Once the selected work is complete, KIBOPC returns the device to the provided address at KIBOPC cost within Ireland unless otherwise agreed. Service work is covered for 1 month after completion unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

Section 01

Introduction and priority of these Terms

These Terms of Service apply to the KIBOPC website and to all quote requests, orders, payments, made-to-order PC builds, technical services, diagnostics, maintenance, upgrades, delivery, collection, returns, warranty support and customer communications provided by KIBOPC.

By using the website, submitting a quote request, accepting a quote, placing an order, making payment, booking a service or sending hardware to KIBOPC, you agree to these Terms.

If any shorter website notice, product text, invoice note, FAQ answer or older general rule conflicts with these Terms, these Terms take priority for the relevant order. In particular, the made-to-order PC cancellation rules, the 4-business-day Stripe clearing window, the pre-build Stripe-fee deduction rule and the 48-hour transit-damage reporting rule in these Terms take priority over any inconsistent older wording.

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or removes your statutory rights under Irish consumer law, including rights where goods or services are faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, not durable, unsafe, not supplied with reasonable care and skill or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

Section 03

Key definitions

“KIBOPC”, “we”, “us” or “our” means KIBOPC. “Customer”, “you” or “your” means the person, consumer, business or legal entity buying or requesting goods or services from KIBOPC.

“Custom Configurator Build” means a PC built by KIBOPC from a specific combination of components selected, requested, confirmed or approved by the customer through the online configurator, quote process, email, message or other written communication.

“Pre-built PC” or “Pre-configured PC” means a PC configuration shown on the KIBOPC website as a pre-selected model. These systems are not warehouse-stock, ready-to-ship assembled computers; KIBOPC builds them from scratch only after the customer places an order, the order is accepted and payment clears.

“Made-to-order PC” means both a Custom Configurator Build and a Pre-built or Pre-configured PC.

“Build Process” means any step taken by KIBOPC to prepare, order, allocate, unbox, assemble, configure, test, package or dispatch a Made-to-order PC, including component ordering, component allocation, unboxing, thermal paste application, component installation, cable management, BIOS or firmware updates, RGB configuration, operating system installation, driver installation, included software setup, stress testing, quality control and dispatch preparation.

“Services” means diagnostics, maintenance, upgrades, cleaning, troubleshooting, assembly-only work, installation work, testing, software configuration, operating system installation, general IT support or any other technical maintenance service provided by KIBOPC. “Business days” means Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays.

Section 04

What KIBOPC supplies

KIBOPC provides computer-related products and services, including Made-to-order PCs, component-based PC builds, computer components and accessories where offered, diagnostics, maintenance, upgrade, software configuration, operating system installation and general IT support services.

These Terms apply to both consumer and business customers unless expressly stated otherwise. Where the customer is a consumer, nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory Irish or EU consumer rights.

Product descriptions, specifications, prices, images and availability are provided in good faith. Minor differences may occur because of packaging, component revision, manufacturer design, colour, layout, supplier stock or availability. Product images are illustrative unless KIBOPC expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

Section 05

Made-to-order PCs and no warehouse stock

KIBOPC does not operate a warehouse of ready-to-ship, pre-assembled computers. Any PC described as “Pre-built”, “Pre-configured” or similar is a recommended pre-configured model, not an assembled stock item sitting ready for immediate dispatch.

When a customer orders either a Custom Configurator Build or a Pre-built / Pre-configured PC, KIBOPC builds that PC completely from scratch only after the order is accepted and payment has cleared.

After the Build Process begins, KIBOPC may order or allocate components, unbox brand-new parts, apply thermal paste, install components, complete cable management, configure RGB settings, update BIOS or firmware, install an operating system or drivers where included, stress-test the system and perform final quality control.

Once components are unboxed, installed, thermal paste is applied and the system is assembled or tested, those parts are no longer commercially equivalent to unopened retail components. KIBOPC reasonably considers that this may reduce resale value by approximately 20–30% and may make the completed PC or individual parts difficult or commercially unreasonable to resell as new.

Section 06

Orders, acceptance and technical review

An order may be placed through the website, cart, configurator, email, written quotation acceptance or another method accepted by KIBOPC. Adding an item to a cart, submitting a request or receiving an automatic acknowledgement does not by itself create a binding contract.

For Custom Configurator Builds, the customer selects parts or specifications and submits a quote request. KIBOPC manually reviews the request for compatibility, availability, pricing and technical suitability, then may approve, reject, amend or suggest changes.

For Pre-built / Pre-configured PCs, the customer selects a listed system shown on the website. KIBOPC may still review the order for availability, pricing, compatibility and technical suitability before acceptance.

A binding order is created only when KIBOPC issues a final quote, checkout confirmation or secure payment request and the customer makes payment, unless KIBOPC confirms another process in writing. KIBOPC may still refuse, suspend or cancel an order where payment does not clear, fraud or payment risk is suspected, a pricing or product error is identified, components are unavailable or the requested configuration is technically unsuitable, unsafe or impractical.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate requirements, intended use, preferences, budget, delivery details and compatibility information. KIBOPC may refuse or amend configurations that are unsuitable, unsafe, incompatible, unavailable, technically unreasonable or commercially unreasonable.

Where a customer asks for a specific component, accessory, software setup or usage target, the customer is responsible for checking that the request matches their own requirements unless KIBOPC has expressly confirmed suitability in writing. Performance estimates, FPS estimates, compatibility notes and recommendations are guidance only and may vary depending on software updates, drivers, game settings, monitor resolution, thermals and third-party conditions.

Section 07

Quotes, pricing, VAT and availability

All prices are displayed in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated. Prices shown on the website, in the configurator or in communications may be estimates unless KIBOPC issues a final quote or payment request.

Prices will state VAT where applicable. If KIBOPC is not VAT registered, VAT will not be charged unless KIBOPC later states otherwise in a valid invoice or legal notice.

Quotes may include component costs, assembly labour, configuration work, testing, delivery, payment processing costs and any other costs stated in the quote. Quotes are valid only for the period stated. If no period is stated, the quote is valid for 48 hours.

KIBOPC may request a deposit, partial prepayment or full prepayment before ordering components, reserving stock, accepting a service booking or beginning work. Any deposit or prepayment terms will be explained in the quote, checkout, invoice or written communication. Deposits and prepayments are handled subject to the cancellation, Stripe-fee, made-to-order and statutory-rights rules in these Terms.

Computer components may be subject to price changes due to supplier pricing, exchange rates, shortages, discontinuation or manufacturer availability. KIBOPC may withdraw, amend or refuse a quote before payment if pricing, stock, compatibility, supplier availability or technical suitability changes.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, KIBOPC is not obliged to supply goods or services at the incorrect price. Where an error is identified after payment but before dispatch, KIBOPC may offer the customer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order and receive a refund.

Section 08

Payment and Stripe clearing window

KIBOPC normally takes full payment upfront using Stripe or another approved payment method. Payment is required before KIBOPC begins the Build Process for any Made-to-order PC.

After payment is made through Stripe, payment confirmation and security clearing may take up to 4 business days. During this clearing window, KIBOPC does not normally begin the Build Process for Made-to-order PCs.

KIBOPC does not order components, permanently allocate components, unbox components, apply thermal paste, assemble, configure, test or dispatch a Made-to-order PC until payment has fully cleared and any security checks have been completed.

KIBOPC may refuse, suspend or cancel an order where payment is declined, reversed, disputed, subject to chargeback, suspected to be fraudulent, not fully cleared or otherwise subject to payment risk.

Section 09

Cancellation before the Build Process begins

If you request cancellation during the 4-business-day Stripe payment verification window and before KIBOPC has begun the Build Process, KIBOPC will normally accept the cancellation.

Because Stripe does not refund payment processing fees to merchants, any voluntary customer-requested cancellation before the Build Process begins will be refunded minus the non-refundable Stripe credit card/payment processing fees charged to KIBOPC, provided this deduction was disclosed before payment.

This Stripe-fee deduction applies only to voluntary customer-requested cancellations before the Build Process begins. It does not apply to faulty or non-conforming goods, KIBOPC cancellations, orders KIBOPC cannot fulfil, refunds where deduction is prohibited by law, or refunds where your statutory rights require a full refund.

Section 10

Exclusion of 14-day change-of-mind cancellation for Made-to-order PCs

For most online purchases, consumers may have a 14-day cooling-off right. However, that right does not apply in certain cases, including goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.

KIBOPC treats both Custom Configurator Builds and Pre-built / Pre-configured PCs as Made-to-order PCs. Both are built from scratch only after order acceptance and cleared payment, and both involve unboxing, thermal paste application, assembly, configuration, testing and integration of components into a completed PC for that order.

Accordingly, once the Build Process begins, the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right is excluded for Made-to-order PCs to the fullest extent permitted by Irish consumer law. This applies even if the PC has not yet been dispatched, provided the Build Process has already begun.

This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights if the PC is faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, not durable, unsafe or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

Section 11

Cancellation or changes after the Build Process begins

If you request cancellation after the Build Process has started, KIBOPC will normally refuse cancellation for change of mind. This applies to both Custom Configurator Builds and Pre-built / Pre-configured PCs.

KIBOPC may, at its sole discretion and without obligation, agree to cancel, modify or partially refund a Made-to-order PC after work has started. If KIBOPC agrees, it may deduct reasonable costs already incurred, including component costs, reduction in component value, assembly labour, configuration work, testing work, payment processing fees, supplier restocking fees, courier costs, packaging costs and other direct costs caused by the cancellation or change.

Changes after payment are not guaranteed. If requested before the Build Process begins, KIBOPC may issue an amended quote or payment adjustment. If requested after the Build Process begins, KIBOPC may refuse the change or charge additional costs. Any agreed change may affect timing, price, warranty or specification.

Section 12

Component substitutions, specifications and software

+

Component brands, product revisions and specific models shown on the website may be examples based on the advertised specification. Some components may be selected by specification, performance class or category rather than exact brand.

Due to supplier stock, manufacturer availability, product revisions or discontinuation, KIBOPC may supply an equivalent component from a different reputable brand, provided that the selected component offers equivalent or better functionality, reliability, compatibility and core specifications.

KIBOPC will not knowingly substitute a component with a lower performance class or materially inferior specification without customer approval. Where a substitution would materially affect performance, appearance, warranty, price, delivery time or a key specification, KIBOPC will contact the customer before proceeding.

Where included in the order, KIBOPC may perform BIOS updates, firmware updates, operating system installation, driver installation, RGB configuration, stress testing and related setup. Unless expressly stated in the quote or product description, paid software licences, activation keys, subscriptions, games, applications or third-party services are not included.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any hardware, software, operating systems, applications, games or digital content they request or provide are lawful, compatible and properly licensed unless KIBOPC expressly supplies the licence as part of the order.

Section 13

Build, dispatch, delivery, collection and risk

After payment fully clears, the normal build, testing and dispatch preparation timeframe for Made-to-order PCs is 7–14 business days. This timeframe is an estimate and may vary due to component availability, supplier delays, courier delays, payment verification, compatibility issues, quality-control issues, customer-requested changes, workload or events outside KIBOPC’s reasonable control.

KIBOPC currently delivers within Ireland only unless it expressly agrees otherwise in writing before the order is placed. Delivery charges, where applicable, will be shown during the order process or stated in the quotation or invoice. Delivery times after dispatch are estimates unless KIBOPC expressly agrees to a guaranteed date in writing.

When your order is dispatched or ready for collection where applicable, KIBOPC may send a dispatch or collection confirmation. If collection is offered, KIBOPC may request proof of identity, order confirmation or payment confirmation before releasing goods.

Risk in goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address provided by you, collected by you or collected by your authorised representative. Ownership passes only when KIBOPC has received full cleared payment for the goods and any applicable delivery or service charges.

You must provide a correct and complete delivery address, Eircode and contact details. KIBOPC is not responsible for failed delivery, delay, loss or extra charges caused by incorrect or incomplete customer details. If you fail to collect goods within 14 days of collection notification, KIBOPC may charge reasonable storage fees or cancel the order, subject to applicable law and the nature of the goods.

Section 14

Transit damage, inspection and returns procedure

You must inspect your PC and packaging promptly after delivery. If goods arrive damaged, incomplete, incorrect, visibly mishandled or non-functional on arrival, you must contact KIBOPC within 48 hours of delivery where possible so that KIBOPC can investigate and submit a courier claim if needed.

A transit-damage report should include your order number, photos of the outer packaging, photos of the inner packaging, photos or video of the issue and a clear description. Keep all packaging until KIBOPC confirms it is no longer needed.

The 48-hour reporting requirement is an operational requirement for courier investigation and evidence preservation. It does not remove your statutory rights for faulty or non-conforming goods.

You must contact KIBOPC before returning any product. Do not send goods back without receiving return instructions. Returned PCs and components must be packaged safely, preferably in the original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.

Section 15

Technical services: diagnostics, upgrades and maintenance

KIBOPC will provide Services with reasonable skill and care in accordance with applicable Irish consumer law. Diagnostic services identify likely causes of faults based on available information and reasonable testing; some faults may be intermittent or may require further investigation.

For pure Services, work starts when the customer’s hardware, device, PC or components arrive at the KIBOPC service location, the service request has been accepted and any required payment has been received, unless KIBOPC agrees otherwise in writing. Services do not follow the 4-business-day Stripe payment verification window used for Made-to-order PC builds.

By booking, paying for or sending hardware for a Service, you request and consent for KIBOPC to begin the Service immediately when the hardware arrives at our service location. Once a Service has been fully performed, the service fee is non-refundable except where required by law.

If you cancel a Service after work has started but before completion, KIBOPC may charge a reasonable amount for work already performed, diagnostic time, labour, parts ordered, supplier costs and other costs incurred. This does not affect your statutory rights if the Service is not performed with reasonable care and skill or does not conform to the contract.

Where a Service requires physical access to a computer, component or device, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for delivery or shipment to KIBOPC unless otherwise agreed in writing. After the selected Service has been completed, KIBOPC will arrange standard return delivery of the serviced equipment to the customer’s provided address at KIBOPC’s cost within Ireland only, unless otherwise stated in writing. Any special delivery method, international return delivery, failed delivery, incorrect address, redelivery fee or additional courier charge may be payable by the customer.

Service completion times are estimates only and may depend on parts availability, diagnostics, customer response time, software issues, courier delays or other factors outside KIBOPC’s reasonable control.

Section 16

Customer devices, data, access and lawful ownership

Customers must ensure that equipment provided to KIBOPC for service, diagnostics or maintenance is lawfully owned by them or that they have authority to request the Service.

For diagnostics, upgrades, maintenance or any Service involving a customer’s existing device, you are responsible for backing up all data before giving the device to KIBOPC. KIBOPC is not responsible for loss, corruption or deletion of data except where caused by KIBOPC’s negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Where Services require access to devices, accounts, software or systems, the customer must provide necessary lawful access, passwords or credentials. KIBOPC may refuse to perform Services where lawful access cannot be verified.

After completion of diagnostics, upgrade, maintenance or warranty inspection, the customer must cooperate with collection, return shipping, payment of any agreed charges and any reasonable information needed to close the service request.

You should remove confidential, sensitive, unlawful or unnecessary personal data before providing a device where possible and must not request or use KIBOPC goods or Services for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or abusive purposes.

Section 17

Faulty goods, warranty and statutory remedies

KIBOPC complies with Irish consumer law. If goods supplied by KIBOPC are faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose, not durable, unsafe or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to remedies such as repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or another remedy depending on the circumstances.

The made-to-order cancellation exclusion does not apply to faulty or non-conforming goods. Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or removes your statutory rights.

Consumers have statutory rights separate from and not replaced by any manufacturer warranty or commercial guarantee. Computer components and hardware may also be covered by manufacturer warranties, with duration and terms depending on the relevant manufacturer.

KIBOPC provides a 1-year warranty on KIBOPC PC build/assembly workmanship unless otherwise stated in writing. KIBOPC service, diagnostic, upgrade and maintenance work is covered for 1 month after completion unless otherwise confirmed in writing. Individual hardware components may also be covered by manufacturer warranties.

Before any warranty or statutory remedy is offered, KIBOPC may require inspection, diagnostic testing or confirmation from the relevant manufacturer or supplier.

Section 18

Administrative address and RMA requirement

All KIBOPC systems, including custom-configured and pre-configured models, are built to order. In accordance with Irish and EU e-commerce regulations, the registered geographic address is provided for statutory compliance and administrative purposes only.

Customers must not ship hardware, computers, components, accessories or any other goods to the registered administrative address for returns, diagnostics, maintenance service, warranty inspection or technical support without prior written authorisation from KIBOPC. Any return, warranty claim, diagnostic request, maintenance service request or technical support request must first be initiated through customer support. Customers must obtain an official RMA number and designated courier shipping instructions before sending any item to KIBOPC.

KIBOPC accepts no liability for unauthorised packages, hardware, computers, components or accessories delivered to the registered administrative and compliance address. Unauthorised shipments may be rejected, refused or returned to the sender.

Section 19

Issues not normally treated as faults or warranty defects

The following are not normally treated as faults or warranty defects unless caused by KIBOPC or by a non-conformity existing at delivery: accidental damage, misuse, neglect, abuse, liquid damage, power surges, unsafe electrical supply, overheating caused by improper use, dust or blocked airflow, unauthorised repair, modification, disassembly or tampering, customer overclocking, BIOS changes, voltage changes, fan curve changes, customer-installed software issues, malware, viruses, unauthorised software misuse, third-party parts not supplied by KIBOPC, normal wear and tear, cosmetic wear after delivery or failure to follow manufacturer or KIBOPC care, safety or usage instructions.

Section 20

Privacy, payments and data protection

KIBOPC processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Personal data may be used to process quote requests, review compatibility, manage orders, take payment, deliver products, provide Services, provide support, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

Payments are processed by Stripe or another approved payment provider. KIBOPC does not store full card numbers or CVV codes on its own servers.

You should not send unnecessary sensitive data to KIBOPC. Where customer hardware is provided for Service, KIBOPC will handle it for the purpose of the requested Service but you remain responsible for backups and removing unnecessary personal data where possible.

Section 21

Website use and intellectual property

KIBOPC aims to keep the website available and functioning but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Website content is provided for general information and sales purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice for every possible use case unless expressly confirmed by KIBOPC in writing.

You must not misuse the website by introducing viruses or malware, attempting unauthorised access, interfering with security, submitting false information, using the website for fraud or unlawful activity, scraping content unlawfully, copying content without permission or attempting to disrupt website operation.

All website content, branding, text, images, graphics, layouts, logos and other materials are owned by or licensed to KIBOPC unless otherwise stated. You may view and use the website for personal purchasing and informational purposes only. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit website content without prior written consent.

Section 22

Complaints and customer support

If you have a complaint or query, contact KIBOPC at support.kibopc@gmail.com and include your name, order number where applicable, a clear description and any relevant photos, screenshots or documents.

KIBOPC will aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and resolve them within a reasonable timeframe.

Consumer customers in Ireland may obtain information about consumer rights from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or Citizens Information.

Section 23

Liability and events outside our control

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to that, KIBOPC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of data or losses caused by customer misuse, unauthorised modification, unsafe use, failure to follow instructions or failure to keep backups. For consumer customers, this limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law.

KIBOPC is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including supplier delays, courier delays, component shortages, payment processing delays, strikes, extreme weather, customs or import issues, power failures, internet outages, cyber incidents, illness, legal restrictions or other force majeure events beyond reasonable control.

Section 24

Severability and assignment

These Terms, together with the relevant quote, invoice, checkout confirmation, policy pages and any service-specific written agreement, form the agreement between KIBOPC and the customer for the relevant order or Service. No failure or delay by KIBOPC in enforcing a term is a waiver of that term or of any other right.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Any invalid or unenforceable provision shall be interpreted or replaced, to the extent possible, with a valid provision that achieves the original commercial purpose while complying with applicable law.

The customer may not assign or transfer rights or obligations under these Terms without KIBOPC’s prior written consent. KIBOPC may assign or transfer its rights and obligations where necessary for business continuity, provided that this does not reduce the customer’s statutory rights.

Section 25

Changes, governing law, jurisdiction and language

KIBOPC may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms that apply to your order are the Terms in force when you accept the quote, place the order or make payment, unless a change is required by law.

These Terms and any contract between KIBOPC and the customer are governed by the laws of Ireland. Irish courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-law rights that allow you to bring proceedings elsewhere. If you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence.

These Terms are provided in English. Where a translation is provided for convenience, the English version shall prevail unless otherwise required by law.
